In our medium truck mechanic training, you’ll learn the ins and outs of heavy truck maintenance and diesel engine technician certification. Our curriculum includes practical experience as a diesel mechanic in commercial vehicle mechanic classes, ensuring you’re job-ready upon graduation.

Internship Requirement
Students must be eligible to obtain a CDL (Commercial Drivers License) and be able to pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) physical, drug screening, and background check as a condition of employment for the internship portion of the program which begins during the first semester.
Tools Required
A tool list will be provided on the first day of class and instructors will work with students to help them create an individualized tool purchasing plan. Various suppliers provide tools at a discounted price to students enrolled in the program and range between $500 – $5000.
Accreditation and Affiliations
The ASE Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that evaluates and accredits entry-level automotive technology education programs against standards developed by the automotive service industry. It also develops career-readiness education for students which fuse local partnerships, rigorous standard-based education, workplace experience, and mentorship together.
