In addition, graduates receive one year of experience credit that can be applied toward a Class A journeyworker electrician, power limited technician, or maintenance electrician license application in Minnesota.

Accreditation and Affiliations
Program faculty meet with the advisory committee bi-annually. The advisory committee consists of industry professionals and student representatives. The advisory committee advises the faculty on budget proposals, industry trends, technology, industry news, curriculum goals, and new courses.
Certification
The Construction Electrician program at Hennepin Tech is recognized by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. Successful completion of the program fulfills the one year’s experience credit allowance for a Class A Journey-worker electrician, power limited technician, or maintenance electrician license applicant according to Minnesota Statutes, section 326B.33, subdivisions 2, paragraph (b), and 7, paragraph (b).
